The most beautiful day in life should be the most special. In search of unique wedding dresses and accessories, we looked at three young designers.
Sheila bobeldijk
AMSTERDAM / SIBODESIGNS.ETSY.COM
It all started with Sheila’s personal wedding, when she wanted to decorate herself with an unusual veil, and buyit failed in the Netherlands. "I decided that I should change this situation.". Three years have passed since then, and now Sheila, like a good fairy, turns the most fabulous dreams of brides from around the world into real miniature masterpieces of chiffon, rhinestones and beads. Each of her works is unique, filled with love and warmth of hands, because she does everything, everything only herself, starting from sketches and ending with the promotion of work on the market.
Elizabeth Dye
PORTLAND / ELIZABETHDYE.BLOGSPOT.DE
Sometimes, it seems that you are not choosing a profession, but it is you. So, at least, says Elizabeth Dye. "I am a designer with 13 years of experience. The first wedding dresses appeared thanks to my girlfriends who despaired of finding something suitable for themselves in stores ". The designer is inspired by unusual fabrics and historical clothing. “Sewing a wedding dress means for me, first of all, the embodiment of all the desires of its owner.Choosing my dress, the bride knows for sure that it is made from a pure heart and only for her. This is not a copy of current trends, but an exclusive model for all time. "
Jennifer wood
Phoenix / MIGNONNEHANDMADE.ETSY.COM
Nostalgic hats, flowers and hair clips are born in the hands of Jennifer Wood, as if by magic. And she just sits down at her desk, takes out the traditional hatter tools and begins to create: she sews a rose from silk, adds a couple of beads and, perhaps, plunges into her favorite fashion era, drawing inspiration. "Handmade things are imbued with the love and diligence of the master, they are one of a kind. As far as I remember, I was always drawn to eccentricity." Jennifer is very happy because she works at home, in a small studio, and can create beauty while being near her children.
