Our today's heroine grew up in a creative family. She recalls that she loved to draw and photograph after her father, and was carried away by sewing and needlework, looking at her mother, who always sewed and crocheted and knitting for both herself and to order. “I learned to sew at an early age, watching how my mother does it,” recalls Diana. “I remember: my mother is trying on with a client, and I hold a box of pins and pass them to her.” First, Diana sewed clothes for dolls, then she began to sew simple skirts and tops for herself, and at about 15 she sewed the first “serious” thing, a jacket from a woolen fabric into a cage.
For a long time, Diana, following in her mother's footsteps, sewed clothes for herself and to order, changing and remaking ready-made patterns for clients. "It was a fantastic experience: I learned how to adapt models to a variety of shapes and sizes!" she says. But at some point, Diana realized that there was too little time left to create her own wardrobe, and decided to reduce the sewing to order in order to sew more for herself. “Now 90 percent of my wardrobe is made with my hands,” she says.
To better understand the process of creating her own models and building patterns, Diana took the appropriate course. And in 2016, she discovered the sewing community on Instagram, and soon got her own page there.

I like to mix modern trends with classics, as well as be creative in basic clothes. Speaking of vintage, I’ll rather have them in the 60s, 70s or 80s, and always with a modern or a classic shade. I like simple fabrics, sometimes textures, calm patterns and prints (I love tartan!), a lot of knitwear and wool of excellent quality. "
