Burda Academy opened in Astrakhan

The sixth season of the Caspian Fashion Week in Astrakhan began with the presentation of the opening of the Burda Academy.

This did not happen by chance, since it is with the training in tailoring, design and modeling that any designer begins his career.

The organizers of the Caspian Fashion Week and the Burda Academy are ready to support talented designers in Astrakhan together, provide a platform for their growth and development. Within the framework of Fashion Week, a competition was announced for everyone to prove themselves in the fashion industry. Designers from Astrakhan, Ulyanovsk, Krasnoyarsk and Moscow presented their work on the catwalk.


The show and presentation of the collection of novice designers were put on trial by an expert jury, which included the organizer of the Burda Academy in Astrakhan, Irina Artamonova. The final assessment was based on a set of criteria and led to the victory of the Verno design team, representing a concise collection of home clothes.

Many young designers of Astrakhan, who presented their collections in a competitive fashion show, are already studying at the Burda Academy. Of particular interest is the Fashion Illustration course, since it is incredibly important to be able to present your ideas in a quality art sketch.
We invite experienced designers and creative people who are not indifferent to the world of fashion to the Burda Academy to conduct master classes in various areas.



As part of the presentation of the Burda Academy, designer Marina Gurvich held a workshop on painting sweatshirts with fabric paints. The students of the Academy were able to try themselves in a new interesting needlework!

Burda Academy is open to needlewomen of any age and any skill level. Here you can meet professionals from the legendary Burda brand, enthusiastic designers of the Caspian Fashion Week and ordinary listeners who want to learn and develop!
