Such baskets are convenient, they are easy to sew, plus - if necessary, they can be folded and removed.

These baskets keep their shape due to the dense interlining added between the layers of fabric. The organizers are folding (by the way, according to the same principle, boxes can also be made of cardboard, but fabric is still more durable). Edges can be processed in different ways: zigzag, overlock or simple stitch.

You will need:

- fabric for the organizer (suitable, for example, not thin cotton fabric) - you can take different types of material for the external and internal sides;

- dense adhesive double-sided interlining;

- disappearing marker or pencil for fabric;

- ruler;

- scissors for fabric;

- roller knife and mat mat;

- iron;

- sewing machine and thread.

Step 1

Cut 3 identical pieces of size 46X51cm: 1 piece of fabric for the outside of the basket, 1 piece of fabric for the inside, 1 piece of non-woven fabric. Iron the fabric. Place the non-woven fabric on the ironing board, on top - one of the fabric parts face up, and go iron without pressing so that the non-woven fabric and fabric catch, but the non-woven fabric does not adhere to the board. Then turn this part upside down, put the second fabric part face up on top and iron the non-woven fabric as it should. then turn the part over and iron the non-woven well on the other side. Wait for the sandwich to cool.

Trim the part with a cutter to a size of 45x50 cm.

Step 2

Draw a line at a distance of 14.5 cm on each side with a disappearing marker.

Align all lines drawn.

Make two cuts along the line of two long lines, as shown in the photo. The cuts should end before 1 mm to perpendicular lines.

Step 3

Now you need to make slots into which the valves will be inserted. Draw lines on each square at a distance of 3.8 cm from the top and bottom edges of the square, not reaching 1.3 cm to the sides.

These lines will subsequently be cut lines, and the part around them must be strengthened. Lay lines around each line, as shown in the photo, backing away from the 2-3 mm line.

Make cuts along the lines: in the center, cut with a knife, at the edges - carefully with scissors, trying not to damage the seam.

Step 4

Now in the middle squares you need to cut out the sections to get the valves. The width of the cut parts is 1.8 cm.

Step 5

In conclusion, you need to process all open slices of the organizer. The first method in the photo above is to lay a line parallel to all open edges, 2-3 mm indent from the edge.

The second option is zigzag processing with a short stitch length.

The third option is overlock processing with a 3-thread seam. In the corners of the valves during this treatment will have to be accurate and careful.

Step 6

To assemble the basket, fold it along the lines of the lines and fill the valves in the slots.
