A hanger with sequins is not only beautiful, but also convenient: things will not slip off such shoulders.
This method not only turns simple hangers - for example, wooden - into elegant and shiny. Sequin hangers allow you to store things that strive to slide off the usual smooth shoulders. They are suitable, for example, for dresses or tops with thin straps.
Wooden hangers are best suited for working with hot glue. On plastic, this glue can subsequently peel off, and some types of plastic can also deform from exposure to hot glue. If you take a hanger covered with fabric, it is better to use special glue for the fabric. The advantages of a wooden hanger are also its strength: for example, it can withstand a rather heavy elegant dress on thin straps (including a wedding one).
Cloth hangers
You will need:
- wooden hangers;
- braid with sequins;
- glue gun;
- unnecessary toothbrush;
- scissors.
DIY hanging organizer
Step 1
Start at the center of the hanger. Apply glue to the wood and fasten the tip of the tape obliquely, as shown in the photo. Turn over the hanger and glue the strip already vertically.
Step 2
Attach the tape to the glue so that the sequins remain on top. Continue to apply glue and glue the braid, wrapping the hanger in a spiral.
Step 3
Having reached the end, in the same way tape over the second half of the hanger.
If there is too much glue, remove it with a toothbrush.
