Another way to recycle old jeans: do-it-yourself office chair hauling.
It happens that a computer chair is still quite good in terms of structural strength, but the material of its upholstery has lost its former freshness.
This office chair, covered in faux leather, looked like the owners were thinking of throwing him away, but still decided to give him a second chance. Three pairs of unnecessary jeans also received a second life in this project. By the way, the covers (except those on the armrests) are removable, they can be removed and washed.
Jeans are chosen so that the denim is about the same color and density. If desired, the project can be repeated using not a pair of trousers, but a new fabric (the same denim or another sufficiently dense suitable material).

How to upgrade an old chair: 3 workshops and 25 ideas
Step 1
Disassemble the chair by removing the backrest and armrests.
Step 2
Cut out new covers for the armrests (cut triangles in the first picture are recesses for fastening). Wrap the armrests with fabric and attach the fabric from the wrong side with a furniture stapler.
Step 3
To give the seat more softness, you can use a sheet of foam. Cut out a part corresponding to the seat of the chair in shape and size. Cut a pair of jeans from your pair of jeans and cut the inner seams. If necessary, sew one more piece of cloth so that the resulting part can be wrapped around the seat and 13-15 cm remain on each side. Round the corners to give the parts for the seat cover a shape similar to that of the seat.

Tuck and stitch the edges of the seat part around the entire perimeter, forming a drawstring. Leave the hole through which you pull the cord. Now the seat cover part can be put on the seat and tighten the cord.
Step 5
Prepare the canvas for the back cover in the same way as for the seat. Cut out the details of the back cover: front, back and two side.
Step 6
Sew a backrest cover, sew a detachable zipper at the bottom.
Step 7
Release the fasteners by making holes with small scissors or a breadboard knife.
